Types of interview

All the employers have an own interview process. There are several different types of interview:
Telephone/ Video - Some employers use an initial telephone/video interview to eliminate unsuitable candidates. Successful applicants are usually then invited to a face-to-face interview or further rounds. Telephone/video interviews usually last for around 30 minutes.

Face-to-face - The most common type of interview, face-to-face encounters can take place with either one interviewer or, more commonly, a panel. Face-to-face interviews usually last for between one and two hours.

Face-to-face interaction with your employer is your only chance to make a lasting impression and get you hired for your first job.
In few firms are conduct some tasks like written test, JAM, GD’s.
First of all, I categorized the tips into three steps.,
1. Before Interview
2. At the time of Interview
3. After Interview.

Let us see.,
First one.,
Before Interview
In before interview, we must follow these bellow steps,

Be prepared
Research the firm or organization for which you are being interviewed and find out about the position for which you are applying. Use the internet, friends or relatives or contact the organization to get information about them and the position. Be prepared to talk about the organization and why you want to work there.
You’re Resume
A resume is the main intangible tool to get a job. Prepare your resume according to the job profile the company is offering and highlighting your strength required for the job.
Remember one thing, that the points you are mentioning in it should be the ones, you are really intended to. This should not be bombastic and not be false just to impress the interviewer.
Find out the type of interview you will be going on
There are several common types of interviews such as one on one, group, and behavioral. You shouldn’t assume you will get a certain one. Don’t be afraid to ask your recruiter what kind of interview will have if you don’t know – the interview will be more beneficial to both parties if you are prepared.
Dress for the job.
Wear the most formal attire that you would likely need to wear in that position. Show the employer how you could represent their organization.
Your dressing sense is the mirror of your personality. It defines the society you belong to. Dress like you are a part of them. Always wear a formal suit. Black trouser and a white shirt would be the best combination. Avoid wearing colorful shirts and trousers. Look like a professional.

Arrive Early
In today’s rushing world, no one can waste their precious time for waiting for someone. So arrive five-minute early. So that you can relax there. It will also depict your punctuality.

Second One
At the time of Interview

Body language
Give a firm handshake to your interviewer(s) before and after the session. Once you're seated, sit naturally without slouching in your chair or leaning on the desk. Throughout the interview, remember to smile frequently and retain eye contact.
Be aware of your skills, abilities and experiences.
Be able to talk about how you could contribute to the organization. Show that you believe you can do the job by referring to your skills, abilities and experience.
Clarity
Answer all questions clearly and concisely, evidencing your most relevant skills, experiences and achievements. It's perfectly acceptable to pause before answering a difficult question to give yourself thinking time, or asking for clarification if, at first, you're unsure what the question means. When answering, don't speak too quickly.
Show Enthusiasm
Give an answer with such a great feel so that interviewer can feel your enthusiasm for the job in your voice only.

It's important that you allow your personality to shine throughout, as well as ask thought-provoking questions at appropriate moments. Both of these strategies will demonstrate that you're genuinely interested in the role and listening closely to the interviewer.
And finally.,
Third one.,
After Interview

Follow up.
Extending the conversation shows that you’re passionate about the job. Don’t call every day asking if you got the job, but a simple thank you note can speak volumes about your commitment to the position.
And if you didn’t get the job? Let them know if you’re still interested, and ask what you can do to be a more attractive candidate in the future

Whether or not you are successful in securing the role, look at is as a good opportunity to engage people, grow your network and get better for next time round. If you're not successful then ask for feedback, although many organizations are coy in case feedback is used against them.

"Remember, you ne'er get a second chance to create a first impression, thus you’ll want to try and do your best on preparing for your interview in advance."
